Therapies dealing with the human energy field have been practiced since ancient times. The laying of hands for healing is well documented in many cultures. The focus of these treatments is to bring balance and harmony to the human energy field resulting in improved health. Modern scienctific research has shown these therapies affect the bioelectrical enegry field that eminates from all living things. Many health benefits have been documented by this research including: calming the nervous system, relieving pain, alleviating headaches and balancing the hormone system.

I am trained in Therapeutic Touch and Reiki, the two most well known and most widely utilized forms of energy healing. I am also trained in craniosacral therapy, which straddles the fine line between structural work and energy work. In craniosacral therapy, very light touch is focused on structures related to the brain and spinal cord in an effort  to improve the function of this system. Results from this subtle therapy can often be dramatic. Craniosacral therapy has proven effective for migraine headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and various whiplash type injuries.
